E-bike tour among 3 typical Apulian wineriesYour tour begins early in the morning, when your group and guide meet at the agreed starting point. After a brief presentation of the tour and the electric bicycles, the group sets off towards the rural paths of the countryside of Gioia del Colle. The first stage of the tour is after about 15 km arriving at the farmhouse, located on a karst plateau which represents the highest point of the municipality of Gioia del Colle. Here, between the white walls and the portico adorned with luxuriant vine vegetation, the owner, a wise winemaker and patient farmer, will welcome us and under his guidance we will be accompanied on a Natural Wine tasting journey, immersed in nature and surrounded or even pampered by the gentle breeze that this area often offers as a well-deserved relief from the summer heat After the tasting, the group gets back on the road with the e-bikes to explore the beautiful landscapes of the countryside. The guide will lead the group through peaceful and scenic routes, crossing fields and woods. Along the way there will be numerous opportunities to take memorable photos and admire the surrounding landscape. Pedaling in harmony, the group will reach the second cellar, where it will be possible to have a second tasting of local wines. The winery produces organic Primitivo wine following the best traditions and practices in all phases: starting from the cultivation of the land owned in the countryside of Gioia del Colle and Santeramo in Colle, continuing with the hand-picking of the grapes and finally with the transformation into wine and conservation in its headquarters in Gioia del Colle, the area where the production of Primitivo wine in Puglia was born. After the tasting, the group will make their way back to the last stop of the tour, the third cellar. Here you can taste other local wines, taste a typical dish of the tradition and typical Apulian gastronomy. This cellar could be particularly interesting because it is dug 8 meters into the limestone rock. The structure allows the wines to refine at a constant temperature, combining utility and beauty. Attached there is a historic farmhouse from 1820 with a rustic taste, used for hospitality. In the cellar you can shop for souvenirs or bottles of wine to take home. Finally, the group will return to the starting point, with the satisfaction of having spent a day outdoors in the midst of nature and having discovered some of the best wines of the Gioia del Colle countryside.
