Day 1: From Monopoli -Alberobello-Noci (about 34 km) The tour starts from the hotel in Monopoli and with the e-bikes we will cross its charming historic center close to the coast, immediately after we pedal in the direction of Alberobello. (approx. 90 minutes) The first stop is the town of Alberobello, famous for its characteristic trulli, where you can take a stroll through the picturesque streets and enjoy the delicious homemade ice cream. (approx. 180 minutes) After the bike tour, it sets off again through rural landscapes, olive groves and vineyards typical of the famous Valle d’Itria, offering an authentic view of the Apulian countryside in the direction of Noci     (about 50 minutes) In Noci, participants will have the opportunity to relax in a cozy hotel and enjoy a refreshing break, while waiting for the unforgettable dinner time. (Dinner and Overnight Stay)   Day 2: From Noci to Gioia del Colle (about 30 km) After a briefing on the route, you will set off along paths in contact with nature and grazing animals until you reach the town  of Gioia del Colle.(approx. 90 minutes) Gioia del Colle is famous for  its mozzarella and you  won’t miss a visit to an authentic local cheese factory, where you can watch the process of making milk pasta and taste a selection of fresh and tasty dairy products, such as mozzarella, burrata and ricotta. (approx. 120 minutes)   We recommend a short visit to the Archaeological Park  of Monte Sannace, one of the most important indigenous sites of pre-Roman Peucetia. The settlement has yielded evidence relating to a very wide chronological period ranging from the Iron Age to the Roman Empire. With the assistance of a local chef, you’ll learn how to prepare a traditional recipe that celebrates the authentic flavors of Puglia. (approx. 45 minutes) Halfway through, you will stop for a short refreshment, at a cozy farm dedicated to donkey breeding and practicing “milk milking”. (approx. 120 minutes)   Option 2 might interest you! Halfway through, you will stop for a short refreshment, at a cozy farm dedicated to the breeding of the powerful Apulian horse “Murgese”. There will be the opportunity to get up close to the animals and listen to curiosities and stories about the horse told by the locals. (approx. 120 minutes)   You will then continue to Matera, where you will leave your ebike to take a guided tour of the “stones”. All facilities in which you will be hosted will be communicated only upon confirmation of the tour. The structures can be b & b, farms or hotels of good categories. Lunches and dinners will be organized with typical products of Puglia according to the availability of season.
